Rob Demovsky of the Green Bay Press Gazzette has reported that there is a chance that Poppinga may not make the Packers’ final roster. The factors contributing to his slow demise are his contract, the switch to the 3-4 defense and his lack of coverage skills.

Sad News in Iowa, Packerland
As many of you have probably read, Aaron Kampman’s high school football coach was shot and killed in his school’s weight room. Details are streaming in by the hour and the DesMoines Register seems to have the most up-to-date information. The suspect is a former student. Read more here.
